How to Connect Your Shopify Store to QPMN

Easily integrate QPMN’s print-on-demand services with your Shopify store using our step-by-step guide.
Learn how to set up your store, add customizable products, and enable customer personalization.

Connecting to Shopify

Step 1:  login or sign-up a free QPMN account.

Step 2: Click on “My Stores”, then “+ Add Store” on the left after accessing your dashboard.

Step 3: Choose Shopify option and click “Connect”.

Step 4: Click “Install the App”.

Step 5: Login to your Shopify account and click “Install” to download our POD app.

Step 6: Select “Connect store to (your email)” to confirm connection.

If you see “Connected”, it means your shop has successfully synced with our POD app.

How to Create Your First Product

Step 1: Click on Products, then “My Products”. (If you have multiple shops, choose the relevant store. If you have only one shop, proceed to the next step.) Click “+ Add”.

Step 2: Select the product you want to sell in your shop.

(We have selected “Poker Size Custom Playing Cards” for this tutorial)

Step 3: Once you are on the product page, click “Add to store” to proceed to the next step.

(You can adjust the product specifications on the next step)

Step 4: Click “Add your design”

Step 5: Design both sides of your product. Click “ADD YOUR DESIGN” button to upload your creatives, they will appear on the left panel, edit it by using the builder. This step will first upload the designs for card’s front.

Step 6: You can check the upload progress beside the upload button. After the upload process simply click “OK” to exit the Upload File window to resume the design process.

Step 7: You can preview and add all the product images for your shop on this page. Click “Proceed to Info” when you are satisfied with the product pictures.

Step 8: Set your retail price (the selling price of your product). The term “White label Price” refers to the cost of your product. Then, click “Save Product”. Click “Sync” to send the product to your shop.

Step 9: On the Info page, you can edit the product name, short description and product description. Click the arrow icon to edit the description, then click “Proceed to Pricing” to continue.

P.S. You can tick this box if you want to allow your customers to add their own creative touch to your design.

Step 10: On this page, you can adjust your retail price and see your revenue. (White-label price is the product cost of one item. If you order in bulk, your product cost will be even lower, allowing you to enjoy higher revenue. )

Step 11: After that, click “Edit”. Then, click “Activate” and “Enable” to publish your final product. Now, your first product has been successfully created on your shop! Click “OK”.

Additional step to enable customization on Shopify

To enable customization feature on Shopify, you need to add a block to your Shopify product page.

Don’t worry, adding this block will only apply to QPMN products, and it won’t affect any other non-QPMN products in your store. This is a targeted integration that keeps the customization functionality isolated to just the QPMN items.

Once you’ve added the customization block to your Shopify product templates, your customers will be able to personalize and customize the QPMN products they’re interested in purchasing. 

Step 1: Go to your Shopify admin page and click Online Page > Theme

Step 2: Click the “Homepage” on top and select “Products” to edit you store product page.

Step 3: Now we need to add a “QPMN Design Button” to product page. First you need to decide where to add the button and mouse over to that position and click the blue +.

Step 4: Click Apps and select “QPMN Design Button”. Now the Edit and Preview Button will appear on this page, then click save to save the change.

Visit your product page, if you can see the Edit and Preview Button. You are all set. And its time to promote your store.

Shipping Setting for QPMN products

Shopify Plan Variations Impact QPMN Shipping Setup

The specific Shopify plan you have can result in slight differences when setting up QPMN’s shipping integration.

  1. Advanced Plan: Live rate will be automatically add to your store.
  2. Shopify plan: You will have to contact Shopify and ask them to add live rates to your account. Note that the live rates feature is no longer available for Shopify.
  3. Basic plan: Users that registered after January 1, 2023. Please fill in the form and we will assist you with the shipping flat rate.

Submit your tax information to QPMN

All orders dispatched to the European Union (EU), and the United Kingdom are subject to VAT. To ensure the accurate computation of tax, kindly provide us with your business’s VAT ID number(s), which is also utilized for billing purposes.

Step 1: Simply visit QPMN dashboard and go ‘Tax’ under my account, then submit your VAT ID on this page. You may start selling after your ID is checked and approved by the system.

How to combine order and enjoy bulk discount
